A movie that has an amazing ending would be "The Dark Knight Rises". You expect batman to die when he is dropping the bomb in the water, but then you see him eating dinner with cat woman. It's a plot twist, and it leaves you fulfilled. Something that would be beginning for me would be my senior year. It already started but it's been filled with stress. This second semester would actually be fun. I'm extremely excited to experience these senior events. Something that would be ending for me is my high school years. I'm starting the fun, but ending the whole experience. I'm going to miss High School a lot. I met a lot of people that have impacted my life in more than one way. They've taught me a lot, things that will follow me forever.

Undeserved Misfortune
An example of Undeserved Misfortune comes from the movie "Titanic". In the movie the boat sinks and it is obviously filled with a lot of people. Many of those are rich, but there are those that were barley able to afford the boat ride. When the boat sinks only the rich people were considered at first. There was not enough lifeboats for everyone to get into so they locked the doors for those who were lower class and many rich men were left in the sinking boat. It was not fair that only the rich were given the opportunity to save themselves, and the poor weren't. An example in real life would be when I got sick before a performance in 3rd grade. I was lead singer in the christmas show and I was so excited. But the night before the show I had been playing outside w/ out shoes and had gotten sick. An idea for a movie would be where a dog is extremely loyal to their owner and gets treated very badly as they age.

My Film Job
The job that I personally would like to have would be a director. I feel as if I have good ideas that would relate to many people. Also I myself am not a boring person so I would express myself through my film in a way that catches the attention of the audience. One job that the director has is to control the blocking of the actors and if I didn't have that job I wouldn't feel comfortable. Also being in control seems interesting to me as well. To be able to say I made a movie would be one of my greatest accomplishments as well. The pressure to make a good movie would drive me to do my best.
Conflict
A good conflict that will always grab my attention would have to be "Mean Girls". The fact that there is a group of girls that are in HS and that haze other people for the fun of it interests me. It relates to real life and it's interesting to see drama unfold. I'm not saying that I'm the type of person that would go up to someone and treat them the way that was showed in the movie, but it makes for a good movie. This also cause awareness to how real bullying and social status is to teens in high school.

My Review on The Elephant Man
The Elephant Man was a great movie to watch. The story was amazing. To have such physical features and having to deal with them would be a real struggle. Much more than many people realize. Also having the patience and willingness to want to help someone like that takes much more. Dr.Treves was the most influential character for me. He took initiative to help give this man a better life than the horrible one he was living. When John Merrik was living with Bytes he had to go under conditions in which he didn't want to follow. He was ridiculed and laughed at for the money that Bytes was making. Dr.Treves felt as if he needed to do something for this man so he helped him. Many people today would not take in a man that was in John's condition. Much less to take care of him fully. I really like the character of Dr.Treves and he was the one who influenced me most.

My name is John Merrik.....
Today was not like any other day. Today I was given the opportunity to go visit a place which truly brings me much joy... The Theater. It was only my first time going to visit the theater, but it made me so happy. The production was phenomenal! Ms.Kendell was amazing! I loved the music of the orchestra. It was so relaxing and soothing. The set was designed beautifully and the costumes were impressive. I did get the chance to sit besides some of the queens and princesses. I enjoyed their company and I hope they enjoyed mine as well. But the part that just made me so happy and full of joy was when Ms.Kendell came out and dedicated the performance.... TO ME!! That made my day.... no my week... no my life maybe. I honestly am so grateful to have a friend like Ms.Kendell, and many others. Overall, a great day.

Welcome to my Nightmare....
One of the worst nightmares that I've ever had included my little sisters. I guess you could say it was a bit of karma hitting me, but it was still really scary. That night I had gotten home really late, and as any normal person I was exhausted. I didn't want to be disturbed, and I just wanted to go straight to bed. My family had already been sleeping and the only one waiting for me was my younger sister. I expected my parents to be asleep due to them waking up early like 3am early to go to work. So when I saw that my sister was awake I got angry with her. I asked her why she was awake so late and why she even wanted to wait for me to get home. I guess you could say we got into some type of argument due to my sleepless bitterness. I didn't make much of it so I just went to bed. Around 4am when my parents were leaving my sister woke me up and told me to go check if the door was locked. I tend to not be happy when people wake me up so I answered her very in a very rude tone. I also may have said things that I shouldn't, but they came out. So when I finally went back to sleep I started to have this weird dream. It started as me waking up and walking around my house. I soon began to see priests in my house. My house had turned into some type of church and sacred people were flooding it. I kept asking what was the big deal, but I would just be ignored. So when I pushed my way through them and went into my parents room I realized that something horrible had happened to youngest baby sister. I don't recall what but all I know is that it was horrible. I started to freak out and ask from my other younger sister and she was no where to be found. Then when I found my mother amongst the crowd she had told me that my sister (the one I talked to badly that night) had gone away. She was lost, kidnapped, and no one had any idea where she was. I suddenly woke up with tears in my face thinking about how I would ever live without my partner in crime. I have a close relationship with her but I never thought about the day I wouldn't have her with me. I got up and went running to her bed. I told her how much I loved her and that I'd never talk badly to her again. Ever since that day I treat her like if I wouldn't have her tomorrow.
Love you, sis.

Compassionate Science
Compassionate Scientists are the reason why we have what we have today. Many people don't realize that some scientific breakthroughs didn't just blow up in someones face all of a sudden, it took time to happen. A compassionate scientists is one who dedicates, and has the drive to make a difference. Many other factors come to play but those are some of the most important ones. Not only are they in science, but they also take part in medical advances, and social improvements. A lot of these scientists have a common goal that they want to acquire, a difference in the world that they want to make. For example, Mike Ebeling wanted to make a difference in that young boys life. He had drive and dedication that came from personal observations. He had young boys of his own and it would hurt him permanently inside if he saw that they were missing both of their arms. Many people wouldn't consider themselves as "Compassionate Scientist" material, but once they relate to a certain situation that someone else is going through they instantly start to feel as if they can help. I feel as if that would be the only way I'd become a compassionate scientist. I feel sorry and what not for those in need, but I'm not going to sit here and lie to you that I'll do everything in my power to make a difference, because I know I won't. I attempt by donating money and helping when I can. But to say that I will fight for that cause wouldn't be a valid statement. It's not just me either, that's the majority of people. They just don't admit it. But in the near future I know that there will be something that affects me in which I want to make a difference in.

The Future.... DUN DUN DUN
We as people make many mistakes but we level it out with great outcomes. We have made some things happen that people would've never even thought of. I have a lot of things in mind in which I believe will eventually come. One of which includes floating chairs. People are just getting lazier and lazier and the only way for companies to meet up to those standards it to build around that. I believe and also hope a bit that they do create chairs that float and bring you around. Not wheelchairs, flying chairs. They have a cup holder and a screen that's enabled to allow you to see Netflix. If that's what I believe the future looks like then there's endless possibilities. The good outcome which will come with the future is the inventions that will allow people to not make any movement in order to obtain what they want. The mistake is allowing people to have this power. The common body mass has raised since the 50's. That's a small amount of time. Imagine now in 2054 what it'll be. We will eventually be to darn lazy to even think about what we want. This will lead to a revolution of machines that will do everything for us. Which will lead to us obeying machines. Think about it, if we already have cars that drive for us imagine what will come next.
Evolution will look something like this:
Dinosaurs > Caveman (people) > Machines
There will probably be good outcomes as in medicine and cures for diseases but it's not going to be our doing.
And thats what I think the future will look like. :)
The Time I Laughed Really, Really Hard
The one time that I laughed so hard that I will never forget is when I was with my neighbors. We had been staying out that night and we were very bored. Soooo we eventually started thinking about things to do to keep us busy. We were only middle schoolers so we came up with ding dong ditch. We were having the time of our life. I even went to some houses. It was getting to about 11:30 at night and we were getting pretty tired. My friend Jackie hadn't gone so we figured if we sent her then that would be our last house. There's a very nice mansion down my street so we decided to hit it. When we got there we all took our spots in which we could watch but not get caught. We then told Jackie to hurry up and go do "the job". We didn't realize that there is a little hill up the driveway of the house. We obviously didn't care as well. So she's slowly going up then and rings the bell and suddenly all the lights turn on! We all start freaking out and start waving our hands in signal of telling her to get out of there! So she starts to panic and then slips on a rock and starts rolling down the driveway! So she found it easy to start crawling once she reached the walkway. No one ever opened the door but all you could hear was a bunch of neighborhood kids laughing all over the street. I couldn't contain myself I had to go home and sit for about 30 min before I stopped laughing. I still thank Jackie to this day for allowing me to have that wonderful laugh.

"Modern Times"
Charlie Chaplin is one of the most influential actors that the movie business has ever seen. He was also much more than an actor, and his film "Modern Times" shows that. In the film Chaplin creates the character "The Little Tramp" . This character goes around living his life while he unconsciously gets into trouble. No matter what he stays positive and looks at the brighter sides of EVERY situation. Overall the character is amusing, funny, and uplifting.

Bullying
The common student can say that they have either been a witness to bullying or have been bullied or even bullied someone else themselves. Bullying has became something that isn't out of the ordinary. A recent study from ABC news has shown that 30% of kids are either bullies or are being bullied. It's starting to become more and more common. You'd expect it to only happen in schools, but it has started to grow onto the internet. Social media has been a big factor to this on going problem. Young people are mainly the ones that have made this epidemic grow. Some kids are so harsh and mean they take advantage of social websites and use it against others. Many of the kids that are affected are innocent and have never made any harm to anyone. No one should be bullied, or bully. If you see this happen don't be afraid to speak up.

My Favorite Movie
Having a favorite movie would be like having a favorite child, you have no favorite! It's pretty hard to choose one especially if you're a movie lover like myself. But if I HAD to choose I'd choose one of the best trilogies out there.... the Batman series. Batman Begins, The Dark Knight, and the Dark Knight Rises are some of the movies that I can watch over and over again without getting bored or annoyed. Not only do the actors catch my attention with their good looks and great acting, but also the plot. I enjoy a serious action filled tone in a movie. Many of the superhero movies today often give a bit of humor into it, but not in Batman. I feel as it keeps the watcher more interested into what comes next. The climax and the villains also interest me while watching this film. Not knowing when they're going to strike keeps me anticipated and at the edge of my seat. The directing was amazing as well. I loved how the director always keeps the scenes dark and mysterious. There's not many sunny scenes and it helps keeps the movies serious tone. Overall the Batman movies are classic, and will never get old.
